I am excited and blessed to join the Tatum ISD family as the School Counselor at Tatum Primary. My heart is dedicated to growing students in their social/emotional health, as well as providing academic support.
I am a 2003 graduate of Marshall High School and a 2008 graduate of ETBU, where I received my bachelor’s degree in education. I later completed my Master’s degree in school counseling at the University of Texas at Tyler. While earning my degree, I married my husband (Wade) in 2014. We have two children (Tyler and Aubrey) and two doodle dogs (Boog and Copper).
I began my career in education as a kindergarten teacher in January 2009. I have also taught 6th grade and 8th grade mathematics. My counseling career has included both middle school (1 year in Marshall ISD) and high school (6 years in Waskom ISD).
